Kidogo Art Institute Cert IV in Visual Art and Design
This course has been designed to address the core competencies that will be needed by visual communicators in the new millennium. Students will not only explore current theory and practice in the areas of art and design, technology and self promotion but will also be encouraged to develop a personal vision for the future.
This course leads to qualifications: Certificate IV in Design" or Certificate IV in Visual Arts & Contemporary Craft. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) may qualify you for some exemptions.
Average Course Hours: 630 hrs over 10 months (Average of hours. You may complete units in less time)

Kidogo Art Institute Cert III in Design Fundamentals
Design is the framework on which great works of art are built. This course covers the fundamental elements of the design process - from source material, ideas and research; through exploration, selection and development of concepts; to refinement and presentation of the final work.
Kidogo Art Institute's Cert III in Design Fundamentals Program is designed to encourage imagination and is suited to anyone wishing to enhance his or her design abilities and creative thinking process.
The course will cover many of the Core Units from the Nationally Recognised Training Package: Visual Arts, Design & Craft (CUV03).
Average Course Hours: 440 hrs over 18 months (Average of hours. You may complete units in less time)

How To Apply
Year 11 and year 12 Students from 'INSTEP WEST' and 'CAREERLINK' can apply to study part of the Certificate III in Design Fundamentals. Enrolments are conducted by the 'INSTEP WEST' and 'CAREERLINK' offices within the school.
If you are not part of the 'INSTEP WEST' or 'CAREERLINK' program, you can enrol directly through the Kidogo Art Institute (Download REGISTRATION FORM).
