Undertaking this course at Kidogo marks the beginning of a dramatic career change for Dora, who has given up a long career in the public sector to pursue her passion for the arts. Raised in Moora, Dora is a mother of two who has never seen herself as an artist, but has spent years creating “mini – masterpieces” of her own accord with no formal training. Now, a long- held dream is being realized.
In spired by abstract art and the old masters from Europe, Dora loves the “romance of art” and the esthetically calming power of shapes and form on a canvas. She describes her work as abstract and is excited about the opportunities that art can open up.
