Freelance photographer Brianna Wheatley will showcase a unique collection of travel and landscape images at her debut exhibition, ‘Voyage’.
The exhibition will be held at the Kidogo Art House Fremantle and will display limited edition prints taken from around the globe.
Photography has been a lifelong passion for Brianna Wheatley, who specialises in travel shots, as well as portraits, commercial, weddings, fashion and editorial.
Brianna is thrilled to have the opportunity to exhibit her work to the public for the first time. “My loves for both travel and photography have given me much joy and I am proud to be exhibiting my two passions combined. This series is an ongoing project that aims to captivate the wonder and vibrancy of the much loved destinations I have visited on my journeys” she said.
Brianna’s exceptional one-off images are printed on metallic paper, mounted and framed in acrylic and will be available for purchase.
Article from the Fremantle Gazette written by Jessica Nico:
"People see many amazing things when they embark on an adventure, and for freelance photographer Brianna Wheatley these sights proved the inspiration for Voyage, her debut exhibition at Kidogo Arthouse.
The exhibition will include a unique collection of travel and landscape pictures taken from her treks around the world.
Starting photography as a hobby at 12, Wheatley said the exhibtion was a lifelong goal.
'I have a great passion for travel and it has always been in my blood,' she said. 'I was fortunate to have a very unique childhood growing up overseas in Indonesia so I decided to combine my two passions - photography and travel - and present an exhibition based on this. This is my first exhibtion and I hope to gain some exposure as a local photographer because I have put alot of time and effort into my work.'"
