ABOUT KAREN:

CULTURAL HERITAGE:

Wadjor Keip Yorga (Woman from the South West) from the Nyoongar Area

BACKGROUND:

Karen was born in Katanning she started painting in 2011 and has received the Certificate III in the Aboriginal Art Course at Kidogo. Karen paints mainly landscapes from her childhood memories of living in Katanning with her family. This includes the family camping, fishing, cooking and sharing of stories around the campfire.
