As a KIDOGO student, you'll never get lost in the crowd, but will feel yourself supported and encouraged every step of the way.
We pride ourselves on creating a nurturing and expansive environment where every student feels encouraged and invited to become part of the arts community. KIDOGO art students are exposed to a wide variety of artists and techniques in programs designed to help every participant to develop their own unique and polished style.
Our tutorial style courses are taught by some of West Australia's best artists who will not only help you develop the skills and knowledge you need to launch your professional art career but offer you a true insider's view of the Perth Arts scene. As the opportunities arise, you might also meet and learn from guest artists renowned International artists who we invite to speak to our classes during their stays in Perth.
As part of their professional training, students at KIDOGO ART INSTITUTE also have the opportunity for first-hand experience in a busy gallery. You will be encouraged to participate in gallery activities, meet and learn from exhibiting artists, attend gallery talks and symposia and to gain insights into how shows are selected, hung, and promoted. The KIDOGO ARTHOUSE Galleries play host to a wide variety of local, national and international artists. As well, our artist-in-residence program provides further opportunity for our students to engage one-on-one with working artists about that craft.
We are dedicated to helping launch the careers of our students and so offer continuing support long after their coursework is done. Our location is second to none. The Institute is perched on the sand dunes a few meters from the sparkling waters edge of Bathers Bay where you can perfect your skills in a friendly, relaxed, rustic setting to the sound of the waves lapping the shore.
