"Songs of Love & Life" with Helen Shanahan & Matt Allen

Helen Shanahan is a folk singer/songwriter from Perth, Western Australia. Helen’s songs ride the joys and sorrows of love and life and draw the listener into an articulate and heartfelt world of story, melody and guitar, through her eyes. 

She has sung alongside Missy Higgins, Passenger and Tim Minchin. Helen is signed to Mushroom Music Publishing, and has released 4 full length recordings, which have featured on TV shows Home and Away and Neighbors.  

Helen is excited to return to the Kidogo Arthouse for an intimate duo performance with her husband Matt Allen, where they will sing songs from her unreleased upcoming album, with songs from her previous recordings, and covers that inspired her as a writer. She is looking forward to sharing her music in this beautiful space.
