Frame of No-Mind is a collection of works by artist Ebony Blackley who by painting from a state of presence hopes to awaken the viewer to the space between thoughts.
Not being tied to a concept allowed a freedom for a vast array of painting techniques to arise. Contrasting colours play with the eye, lines twist and fray, shapes become sculptural and repetition lives in rhythm.
The artist asks you to forget what you know and see what you see. The painting becomes the catalyst to create a “frame of no mind”.
